Today was the day that Hiell was going to get the tear of Soleil. Today was a good day - the damage was not as bad, the body's rampage halted for the time being, for even it knew when rest was in order. And oh, oh. was the Queen determined to bring down the god. My Warlord, I think Soleil has hidden himself away for too long. It's time we set fire to his bush. She was cold, fluid in movement, frigid in intention. If she was going to blackmail the god of fire today, then she was going to be the ice to his flame, the water to his spark, and she was going to bring the goddess of war with her.
She strode out of Atrox, making her way to the Immortal forest - it was a short trip, but the biting cold made it all the more exhilarating, and Hiell decided that she loved the cold. It bit into her skin just right, and she welcomed it. The Forest was desolate - empty, uniform, full of thick, grey trees that blocked out the light with their tangled branches. The whole place seemed dead and when Hiell passed by the place where the sacred pond should have been, there was nothing, only a charred bottom of earth covered by clear water. There was no life, no movement. The pond was just... lifeless.
Hiell despised it.
She stopped near where the gods had died and brought Victus to another world, her magic level high enough that she could sense the aura the dead gods still casted when they split apart. Being an Acerbus, she was tuned in especially to Soleil's. He was here, watching, consciousness barely there - but he was present, and she was going to draw him out.
"Sun God," she drawled, voice seeming dormant, but clearly edged with steel. She would not hesitate to use that steel either. "Show yourself."
