Something wicked this way comes
It seemed as if many things were beginning to change since Amarys first steps in Victus. Although she was naive to many of the realms elements, she quickly learned to adapt. Not only had she learned a lot from her time spent lurking in the shadows of the shadowy realm, but also she had learned a lot about herself in the meantime. She believed that now it was time to break free from her solitude and find a place to call her home. Although she enjoyed her small cozy cave in the mountains and her scattered encounter with Orion, she needed more than just that. She had befriended Arda, her soul shadow, and he had made things a little less lonely. But Arda also helped to show her that she was ready to move on in this realm – that she fit in better than she really understood herself.
Although she longed to find a place to call home, she knew very little about the packs that resided in Victus. She knew where they were located because of the different scent borders that were put in place and she knew to avoid them when she was making her travels to the various lands of the realm. So she decided when she woke up this morning, with the sun shining, that she would travel around and learn about the different packs and maybe she could find a home in one of them.
Her first stop was the Darkwood. She hadn’t been to the territory before, but she had visited a place just on the outskirts, The Hollow and she could smell the strong pack smell when she was there. Although she did not learn the name she was sure that a pack member who would be patrolling the borders would greet her.
She took to the sky and made her journey to the area she believed the pack lived. She set her body down toward the outskirts of the territory and began to walk around. She tucked her wings in an attempt to look less threatening and waited for someone to come and find her. She wasn’t the type to go calling out to let her presence be known, she would rather wait and see if they were paying attention. So she walked around slightly, her paws sinking into the cold earth as she tread deeper and deeper into the forest. Her large blue eyes seemed to glow brighter in the dimly lit forest as she looked around and enjoyed what the area had to offer.
