He had made sure to hunt. Osiris had awoken shortly after Naervon had returned from venturing outside of their cave. The bear had been amazed at the transformation of his friend, gone was the male's fine muscled frame. In its stead was a thin wisp of a wolf, his once thick coat of ebony and crimson was no riddled with silvery gray stripes that raced throughout his fur. Even his collar had disappeared, a fact that still had Naervon angry, the collar had been a gift to him from his mother before her passing. Now it was gone, in its place was a braided mane with the rubies from the collar itself tying off the braids. He didn't know how the braids had gotten there, or where his collar had gone. But he vaguely remembered a dream of his mother standing over him removing the collar, growing out his mane and braiding it. He didn't know if it was true or not but he would gladly find out, hopefully. Pausing he looked up at the opening to the Ritual Crypt, his tail flicked about his legs from where he stood hesitating to enter. He was abruptly nudged forward by a large head, he whipped his head around to glare at Osiris. "Move already you hairy brute," a snarl rumbled from the bear's throat as the large Ursa glared down at him, curling his lip at him Naervon flattened his ears against his skull and hissed at the bear.
Turning his head back towards the Crypt he stood there frozen, he couldn't remember the last time he was here, he couldn't even catch the scent of Nocturne. Wondering as to why that was he started to step forward but stopped, he looked horrible. If anyone saw him they might chase him off, he had been gone for so long he didn't know what had caused the snow to happen. Or how long it had been there, for the sake of the former Deities he couldn't even remember anything past his arrival here from his old home. He had remembered Nocturne, but anything leading up to his disappearance was fuzzy. His tail quivered where it hovered over the ground, slowly snaking back and forth while the rest of him stood ramrod stiff. Waiting for anything to happen, or anyone to show up. Blinking he raised his muzzle and sniffed at the air, he was nervous and not sure what to do now. It would be rude to just waltz into the territory even further, yet he sort of did that on his way to the Crypt's entrance. Ducking his head down he huffed and twitched his ear, the rings in the tall audits swayed from the quick movement of the appendage. Stealing a glance at Osiris he wondered why the bear never woke him, let alone had brought him food to gorge on for when he woke up, yet he also knew the toll that long sleep had taken on Osiris as well.
He had known that Osiris hibernated but as long as they had been asleep he was stunned the bear never woke up, he even knew his hibernation cycle and their sleep had sped past through the cycle completely. It was a wonder to him as far as he could tell that Osiris hadn't died during their sleep, him too for that matter. He wondered what had induced the long sleep, pushing it out of his train of thought he'd dwell on that thought later. Right now he wanted to see if he would be welcomed back into Exilium, hesitating he moved toward the entrance and lifting his head up high parted his jaws. Before he could even think he felt a spark and warmth flooded his limbs, the fire he thought he had lost welled up in his chest ready to come spewing forth from his maw. Giddy with the fact that he still had his flames he belched out three large bursts of fire, the three bursts backfired shortly after in the form of a vicious nosebleed. Hissing he shook his head violently, the blood sprayed from his nose to splash onto his coat, and onto the ground. He heard an angry huff coming from his right shoulder, looking at Osiris he grinned and laughed softly. A splatter of blood from his nose had been flung across the bear's muzzle, his nose still bleeding Naervon lowered his head wondering if whoever would come see him.
"What am I doing here..."
