The femmes' quest for herbs and supplies had led her a great deal from home. She had traversed the lands, collecting plants and flowers for her den, and had ended up at the Hopping River, where Simul once ruled, back in her childhood. She remembered that her mother had been dear friends with Simul's Shaman, and had passed down the knowledge of the plants in the area to her after her death. If she recalled correctly, and it had been quite some time since she'd done any herbal healing, there was a small flower, that grew exclusively beside this river. It was red in color and used to cure many common illnesses. She had already collected a vast amount of herbs, she peered down at her basket, the vines and brush woven carefully into a small pouch, which was suspended in the air by glowing tendrils of magic. She dropped it too the ground, the glowing tendrils rifling through the herbs and flowers. Let's see... her sense casting stretched out, detailing the contents of the basket as she spoke aloud. we've got the clob seeds, anica leaf... Partridge thistle, Tumeric Roots... Sumac, Nightshade, and Sage... Cherry Wheat, St. John's wart, I've got enough of that to last a lifetime... She paused, thinking hard on what her mother had taught her, I should be able to find some Bloodweed and Echinacea along the waters edge... she leaned down, taking the basket in her teeth, as she trotted slowly along the edge, she was careful to listen for anyone's approach, as she was very close to pack lands.
She allowed her senses to stretch, feeling the lands for the plants she sought. The scent of the flower she needed was faint, and she turned her nose towards the smell, following the river down some ways until she found a little patch of the blooming herb. She dropped the basket and stepped forward, sky dipped paws touching the cool waters of the river. Her aura reading burst to life as she touched the flowers, the scent flooding her senses, the flowers bright red aura burning before her. Glowing tendrils of snow and sky reached out, grasping at the flowers, plucking a few large patches of them, and dropping them in the basket. She waded a little deeper, the cool waters of the river rushing against her legs, as she searched for the remaining weed she needed. She began to sing as she searched, her voice echoing through the empty space, melodic tone angelic, as she sang a song her mother had shared with her as a child. Hold me close and hold me fast, This magic spell you cast... This is La Vie En Rose...

Spring was blooming and the flowers have sprouted up with the warmth weather and the furtile land. It was a cause for somewhat of a celebration, or at the very least the chance to explore the lands that were not yet known. And that was what the silver female was doing. She was exploring what she was told used to be part of the Simuls lands. The river was wide and moved slowly, making it easier to swim or hop across, a game she heard, that was popular among the pups and younger wolves. Thought the idea was tempting, the silver furred female did not take part the the activity. Instead she swam, crossing the river and pulling herself out when she was on the other side. She stood there, licking her fur to try and dry off while also attempting to play with the wind and speed up the process. Though that did not work well and she was left still damp and cold.
Sighing, the female walked along the bank, gazing at the numerous plants that covered the ground, not knowing the name of any of them. It was hard for her to understand how healers were able to memorize the names of so many plants. She could understand a little bit, but beyond the basics she was lost. She mused to herself the question of how they do it, until her heard a voice. It was in the distance but attracted her like bees to a sweet flower. She broke out into a light jog, traveling the land faster to find the source of the voice. When she came into view, she saw a white wolf standing in the river. She body was covered in blue markings and a set of small, white antlers. She watched the female, the unfamiliar wolf was singing a song she had never heard before but it attracted her and made her want to speak to the stranger. And since this land was not under the rule of the Simul, it seemed more than okay to approach and be friendly.
Stepping carefully, she made her way to the waters edge and stood there, watching. After a few minutes she cleared her throat and spoke in soft tones that still held the hitch of her old homeland. "Hello dear stranger, I heard you singing and was most curious as to who you are." She paused for a second, hoping she did not scare the other into slipping. "I am Sundara Aethelbeorn, a warrior of Simul. And you?"
She continued to sing, ether strands plucking the Bloodweed from their stalks, adding them to a growing pile of herbs on the bank. And when you speak, angels sing from above... Everyday words seem to turn into love songs... Give your heart and soul to me, and and life will always be... la vie en rose~ She hummed the tune queitly, so lost in her task that she failed to hear anyone approach, until a soft voice cut through the spring time air. Calista turned quickly, blind gaze falling upon a creature of brilliant silver hues, the moonlit aura dancing with something akin to a susnset. Silvery hues swirled, bright pinks and soft yellows forming the shape of a young femme, antlers sprawling above her head. Calista stood silent for a moment, assessing the situation, she sensed no ill will from the other, and eventually, relaxed, a smile parting her pinkened lips. Well hello, Sundara Aethelbeorn of Simul. she used her ether to place all of the bloodweed she had collected into her basket, beside the rivers edge. I am Calista Requiem, Healer of Carus. she gave a slight bow, her head dipping in a respectful gesture. She waded back towards the edge of the water, pulling herself up onto the bank. She shook herself off, water droplets flying into the air, and pausing, gleaming around her, I do apologize if I intruded, although, I do not smell a claim on this land... the water spiralled together, floating gently back into the river, But perhaps I was wrong...? She turned that icy gaze back towards the femme again, head tipped slightly to the side, as if she were confused.

After she had spoken, she watched and waited for the female to notice her presence. It was lovely, listening to the song that the white female was singing and watching her pick herbs that were not recognizable to the tall, antlered woman. Peace seemed to settle in the air around the two wolves in a time when terror and chaos broke the spirits of every wolf that lived. She stood as the other female noticed her and smiled slightly as the situation was assessed, she could not see what the other one saw of her and did not know about the blindness. To her the female was white with shaggy fur and light blue markings that covered her belly, legs, face and hindquarters. She was very pretty and Sundara's heart squeezed slightly but she ignored the feeling and focused on what would happen next. Well hello, Sundara Aethelbeorn of Simul.I am Calista Requiem, Healer of Carus. She smiled and nodded as the other female spoke her greeting and gave herself a title. The neutral grounds let them be calm and relaxed with their conversation, a time to meet those who you have not before.
I do apologize if I intruded, although, I do not smell a claim on this land...But perhaps I was wrong...? She smiled and returned the nod, dipping her antlered head gracefully and politely. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Calista Requiem of Carus." She smiled and glanced around, thoughts coming to her mind about the history of this land. "This land has not been claimed. Once it was of Simul, but now it is for everyone." Her voice was soft and hitched, from a place that was here but also a land far away. Her fur was smooth on her back and her feathers were ruffled lightly by the breeze as it swirled around them. "I did not mean to intrude on your activities but I am curious as to what you are trying to do with those plants?" Her statement ended as a question, her head tilted slight to the right she she gazed upon the herbs Calista had been gathering.
